FLEET FEET 8K Training Program Join this 10-week safe, fun, non-intimidating training program designed for all levels of abilities from beginners to advanced athletes who would like to complete an 8K (4.97 miles) race or improve their time. Receive guidance and advice from experienced coaches, with training adapted to individual skill levels. The first session, an overview of the program, will take place at Verona Park (to the right of the playground area). This will be followed by 9 weekly run/walk training clinics held at the same place culminating with optional participation in a local 8K race. BONUS: Extra training sessions such as track workouts, endurance runs and more will also be provided. REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN BENEFITS RUNNERS, RUN/WALKERS AND WALKERS RECEIVE:
